You're Gonna Think I'm Crazy!
You are probably going to think I'm WACKO but I've packed my bags and am leaving sunny, warm Houston for the Appalachian Mountains for what I'm calling a SNOW-CATION!
This is what the flowers look like outside my office and home.......pretty, huh?
Today was SO sunny, it was a great day to take pictures of all the flowers that are in bloom.
I walk by this every morning before going in my office....it's so pretty I can look at it without putting a little smile on my face.
Before leaving for work I saw this beautiful Angel's Trumpet in my back yard. The morning sun looks so pretty shining through the leaves.
and YEP...call me crazy....I'm leaving for a week to PLAY in THIS!!!! WOOHOO!!! Snow makes me giddy.
Yep, you are totally crazy!!! Seriously, if you love snow good for you. I wish I were more like that.....but I'm so not. If it's below 78 degrees I AM MISERABLE!
I cannot believe all the flowers. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! I'm soooo jealous.
I hope you enjoy your snow vacation in the mountains. I live in PA and we have had sooooo much snow this year. It is great to see all your lovely flowers and the green grass.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and wishing me happy birthday. I truly appreciate it. Please stop by again any time. Amy :)
I would never call you crazy - but we have been living with snow and cold weather for months - I am ready for sunshine. The flowers are beautiful. Hugs, Sweetie
HI Susan, We've had snow on the ground since Nov. so I am sick of it. But---when it first arrived it was beautiful and especially if you like to ski etc. . Have a blast! Cindy
HEY Susan! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Im thinking the snow birds are over the snow but Im from Florida so Im with ya on the snow too!! I'm thinkin I would only like it for a few days though!!LOL
Have a great time doing something that you love!! :o) Those flowers blooming are beautiful. I walked through our yard yesterday to check out all the buds on our trees. :o) Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
Yes, Susan, I think you are whacko...lol Seriously though, it's nice to have a change of weather once in awhile. I'm so wishing for some sunshine and to see flowers again. When our snow starts melting it's just a muddy mess. Have a great time. Ginger
Oh, I don't think you're crazy at all!! If I didn't live here in New England (and see MORE than enough snow every winter), I'd be excited to go visit the snow, too!!!... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
Hey Susan, thanks for stopping by my place and leaving a nice comment...I just live upstate from you. I'm ready for spring and sunshine. Ask me in a couple of months though and I'll be ready to go up north for some snow too. LOL! Tracy
You are not crazy, I told my husband that I NEEDED to see snow, well before I could plan a trip it snowed (in LOUSIANA for goodness sake). Have fun for the rest of us southern folk...MISSY
I understand completely. When you live in a place where it pretty much never snows, it is a fun thing to get to play in it! I'm pretty sure I would get tired of it if I lived where it snows all winter though! Blessings, Lorilee
Yeppers...you have definitely lost your mind! :) Have fun..don't break a leg and we will be thinking about you back here in sunny Houston! :) (Just make sure that you don't bring any of the white stuff back here...)
Yes, it is a little hard to imagine as I hear the wind blowing 90 mph outside my window! Let's just say I really enjoyed my visit to Texas in Jan! LOL!
Yep, I'll be the first to say it.
