Have You Done This????

Life sure has it's ups and downs and this week has been a roller coaster. I had a co-worker commit suicide after being diagnosed with early Alzheimer's; Baby Cora, who I didn't know except from blogging friends, lost a short battle with cancer; Betty, another blogging friend lost her son.........Lots of good things happened this week too but all this randomness has made me aware of the short time we have here on earth. My plan is to review my life more often and check off more items on the list below as things I've done.

  2. I love you rlist. I will post mine. In the past six months I have had three friends have terrible losses, of a mother, a father and a brother. It has been very hard on my little group, but it is good to have friends. I thik that is does make one realize the finality of things...and all left to do on our own bucket list.

  10. Man I hope we really don't have to kill and prepare our own meat! That list made me realize I'd better get busy. Then of course I would have things of my own to add to my list.

I know what you are saying about bad things happening sometimes. The economic situation is overwhelming enough right now. We have to have faith and keep going.

  13. You have really done a lot! Not to mention traveled a lot. :o) How exciting!
I am very sorry for the loss of your co-worker. Last night I spoke to a friend whose daughter in law was going into a critical surgery this morning and all I could think of was how sorry I am for her and of course praying for their entire family. But also, giving thanks for the breath I breathe and the day ahead. So much can change in just a split second!
    Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne

    Hugs,

  19. Hi Susan:
I am so glad you stopped by my blog and left a comment. Miss Nikki is a hoot isn't she? Love reading her blog.
Sounds like a sad week for you. I came across the blog (Betty) I think, by accident. I don't remember her blog name, but I'm sure it was the same gal. Her son had died.
The picture of your dog is precious.
