Fall Fever in Warrenton, TX

This year at Warrenton I decided to take mostly pictures of fall decorations, Halloween themes, skeletons, ghosts, witches, goblins, etc.  This pretty little Dia de los Muertos Skeleton kicks off the fall theme....even though it was about 90 degrees outside.  Sunny and
Warm....that's a Texas Fall for you!

Chippy, rusted fire hydrant.....It fits just right in with the fall colors, doesn't it?
We saw field after field of flying  metal witches and pumpkins.
A kid-friendly metal pumpkin that would last for years and years.....budget minded---don't you think?
Ever seen an ORANGE Flamingo?  With a witch hat, no less.....
I'm always a sucker for a rusted bike.....this gives me a good idea for MY bike basket.
 I don't know German....but I know this is CUTE!
LOVE this idea of masks for pumpkins. They were also selling hats and faux hands for them too.
Cute Scarecrow backdrop in a field of ruffled, metal pumpkins!
 SPOOKY!
 Pensive and Sweet Witch
 Corseted, Big-Eyed Witch!
 Wood Pumpkins and Cats

So.......did you get some good decorating ideas?  I love to see all the new ideas and the old, tried and true decorations.  Check back....I took some other pictures at Grand Ole Warrenton and I'll post those next.

Happy Haunting!

  4. Amazing Halloween decorations you don't see anything like this over in England. Is it like that all over America?

    1. Thanks for coming by my blog! I think over the past few years Halloween has really exploded in the US. I've heard it's the second most decorated holiday, after Christmas. I was in Italy about 6 years ago, during Halloween time and just saw a tiny bit of decorations and celebrations. Last year I was in France, and didn't see too much either. Leave it to the American's to go ALL Crazy with the holiday! Happy Fall Ya'll!!!!

  5. Well I guess I'm a party pooper but I rarely ever put up Halloween decor anymore. We used to have lots of trick or treaters and now we're lucky to have one or two so the fun just isn't there. That said, I really enjoyed all the Halloween decor you've featured. I LOVE those metal witches! How adorable! And how lucky you are to be in Texas where the sun is shining. Here in the Pacific Northwest it's raining and cold *winks* Vanna

  7. Just followed you back! Always nice to meet a "neighbor."

I love that wheelbarrow with the pumpkins. When I show that to my mother, I KNOW she's going to be on a mission all year long to find one for herself. :p
