Easter Bunny Parade

Last weekend while it was unseasonably cold and wintry in Houston, I thought I'd put myself in a Spring Mood....so out came my boxes of bunnies! My neighbor gave me the cute picket fence that I used in my dining room mantle.
Here are my living room bunnies...a bit more understated to go with the colors in that room. The old books tied up with string are my "score" at the Urban Market. They are dated 1918 and come from a home that is about a mile from mine. I thought that was very cool!

I obviously have a "thing" for very tall, long legged bunnies. These were set up on a small bookshelf in my living room. They are having a little bunny picnic.
I love this little hard working bunny....always toting a batch of pretty eggs around.

  4. Susan,
I just happened to notice...on your sidebar you have the well-known postwar picture of the sailor kissing the nurse (Wordless Wednesday)...I recently posted the sailor and nurse in their Sarasota sculpture on my beachsnaps blog and this morning your image and mine showed up together on my screen as I read your bunny post. Made me smile :)

  5. Hi Susan! I LOVE those books tied up on your mantlepiece. Ohhhh my stars n garters they are SAWEET!
I'm a bunny person myself. Mrs. Potter lives behind the potting shed and I just took her a handful of dandylions. (She calls em candylions though.) I'm thinkin bout bringing home a Mr. Potter for her but we need to fix up a larger hutch. I LOVE your rabbits. Do you ever go to Bethany Lowe and look there? Also check out Victorian trading company. They have lots right now! Super cute ones like yours!
May your day be sweet like...

That frozen fountain is crazy for Houstin!!! Florida actually had a "winter" , so to speak. After living in Michigan it felt nice.
