Thought you'd never see THIS in Houston, did you????
Last weekend Texas had record breaking frigid temperatures....below 32 for 4 days in a row. Although Carson and Riley get along just fine, it was unusual to see them curled up and sleeping together.
Thank goodness they don't read my blog....they might not be amused!
so fellow bloggers, do your dogs and cats get along?
so cute....can't blame them for curling up together...glad that it is warming up...
ReplyDeleteThe doxie, Chili LOVES all 5 cats; one mature cat loves Chili; the rest only tolerate him. Why do dogs not understand cats don't like doggie kisses?
ReplyDeleteWe had some of the same ice scenes here in Atlanta, but today is going to be warm!!! Hope that is the last of the winter freezes for the year--I'm ready for spring!! Thanks for stopping by my blog. (Your furry babies look so sweet and content together!)
ReplyDeleteWow, great capture! Amazing how the cold swept the country. And aren't these two sweet!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is awesome! Last week it was record breaking cold temps. This week they are predicting rain with possible flooding!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Lorilee
It's good that you got a picture of this, because I'm sure they would deny it to the end lol. What a sweet photo. It's been frigid cold here too. Finally warmed up and now they say we are going to get flooding rains! I just hope that spring comes as early as winter did. Kathy
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo cute. I don't have a cat,but i do have 3 dogs that snuggle. Kathy
ReplyDeleteTHat's some cold weather when a fountain freezes! Had record breaking cold here but finally out of it today! My two black dogs, both belonging to my children that I'm temp babysitting, get along but want to horse aroung too much.
ReplyDeleteOh that ice is almost beautiful...almost (brrrr)
ReplyDeleteThe cuddlers ARE beautiful!!
Wow - love the fountain of ice! We stayed dry with the frigid temps last week. I grew up in Houston and the first time I saw snow was when I was in the 6th grade!
ReplyDeleteFound you thru Texas Blogging Gals. It's great to meet you!
Susan, thanks for coming by for a visit today. Glad to meet another Texas girl! Love your blog! Very comfortable. That fountain picture is incredible for your area. I have family in Baytown and Waller who said they are glad it's only temporary. That's why they live there.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe this weather we are having. I'm ready to go south for the winter....
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting from Texas Blogging Gals. Saw you on there.
I also saw your Schnauzer. What a cutie. Lots of Schnauzers in Texas! I have one too named Libby. Little more silver than yours.

I know, can you believe how cold it has been in Texas?! Maybe we finally will have some dead mosquitos. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my little blog. I love meeting other Texas bloggers. So fun!
Your pets are adorable. We only have one...very spoiled rotten...little 9-yr-old blonde pomeranian. She's a mess. But a delight.
Hey, Susan, thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I'm an ol' Houston gal myself. Spring Branch was my old stomping ground and then we moved back to the farm in the Klein area. Can you believe the recent weather? Bizarre to say the least!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your place, your home is so colorful and so it your neighborhood, love that van! The fountain was really cool. I love to see that kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is really nice right now, huh. I call it the tease before spring really sets in. But I'm loving it for now.
Hasn't the weather been so nice now the last few days? Just great!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, interestly that you have minus 34 and we are actually having 34celcius today and well, throughout the whole year really. Except for the year end for monsoon which is wet but still hot too. No cats and dogs for me, I did have 9 rabbits at one time....but gave up after I spent all my time cleaning poop :P
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead.
That's just crazy...How cold it is for you guys...Here in Canada..We are use to the weather that you been having..You poor girl..Stay warm..I love the photo of your little babies...Too cute..Our gets along like that all the time...

ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteSo glad you stopped by, it's nice to meet you!
Can't get over the fountain picture, pretty though... Course here they just turn everything off in the winter or all would be ruined.
Blessings
Rebecca
Thank you for coming by and visiting my blog. Love the fountain picture. We don't have this problem in No. Illinois because all the fountains are turned off for the winter.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr...cute post.
ReplyDeleteSmiles ~ Ramona
Yes, my animals get along just fine. Yours are so cute!
ReplyDeleteFreezin' weather, eh? Brrrrrrr!!!!
:) Becky
Hi Susan, thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. We are suppose to get some winter storm weather here tomorrow and Friday. Have you done any projects lately? Be sure and post pics when you do. I would love to see! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLori
Oh my, that looks cold! We don't have dogs or cats, but my neighbor does and they get along real well together. They are so cute.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the frozen fountain picture. Here in Iowa....we definitely have the ice, but I have not seen a fountain frozen in midair! We lost our puppy because of the ice. He got hit by a pickup and the driver could not stop. We also lost our 2 farm cats...too cold. They were huddled up together too! Think spring.
ReplyDeleteI live in Houston too...can't believe the winter we've had here.
