Strange Bed Fellows.....

Thought you'd never see THIS in Houston, did you???? Last weekend Texas had record breaking frigid temperatures....below 32 for 4 days in a row. Although Carson and Riley get along just fine, it was unusual to see them curled up and sleeping together.
Thank goodness they don't read my blog....they might not be amused!
so fellow bloggers, do your dogs and cats get along?

  2. The doxie, Chili LOVES all 5 cats; one mature cat loves Chili; the rest only tolerate him. Why do dogs not understand cats don't like doggie kisses?

  6. It's good that you got a picture of this, because I'm sure they would deny it to the end lol. What a sweet photo. It's been frigid cold here too. Finally warmed up and now they say we are going to get flooding rains! I just hope that spring comes as early as winter did. Kathy

  10. Wow - love the fountain of ice! We stayed dry with the frigid temps last week. I grew up in Houston and the first time I saw snow was when I was in the 6th grade!

Found you thru Texas Blogging Gals. It's great to meet you!

  11. Susan, thanks for coming by for a visit today. Glad to meet another Texas girl! Love your blog! Very comfortable. That fountain picture is incredible for your area. I have family in Baytown and Waller who said they are glad it's only temporary. That's why they live there.

  12. Can you believe this weather we are having. I'm ready to go south for the winter....
I'm visiting from Texas Blogging Gals. Saw you on there.

I also saw your Schnauzer. What a cutie. Lots of Schnauzers in Texas! I have one too named Libby. Little more silver than yours.

  13. I know, can you believe how cold it has been in Texas?! Maybe we finally will have some dead mosquitos. :)

Thanks for stopping by my little blog. I love meeting other Texas bloggers. So fun!

Your pets are adorable. We only have one...very spoiled rotten...little 9-yr-old blonde pomeranian. She's a mess. But a delight.

  14. Hey, Susan, thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I'm an ol' Houston gal myself. Spring Branch was my old stomping ground and then we moved back to the farm in the Klein area. Can you believe the recent weather? Bizarre to say the least!

The weather is really nice right now, huh. I call it the tease before spring really sets in. But I'm loving it for now.

  17. Hi Susan, interestly that you have minus 34 and we are actually having 34celcius today and well, throughout the whole year really. Except for the year end for monsoon which is wet but still hot too. No cats and dogs for me, I did have 9 rabbits at one time....but gave up after I spent all my time cleaning poop :P
    Have a great week ahead.

  20. Hi
So glad you stopped by, it's nice to meet you!
Can't get over the fountain picture, pretty though... Course here they just turn everything off in the winter or all would be ruined.
    Blessings

  26. LOVE the frozen fountain picture. Here in Iowa....we definitely have the ice, but I have not seen a fountain frozen in midair! We lost our puppy because of the ice. He got hit by a pickup and the driver could not stop. We also lost our 2 farm cats...too cold. They were huddled up together too! Think spring.
